Today I am here to write about my morning mediation with matcha and the benefits matcha has to improve your life. I love starting my morning with tea. It's a great way to boost energy while having a soothing cup of tea. I recently was at one of my favourite places to get food and amazing organic drinks. I tried the matcha ice tea with lemon, I love matcha but never had the combination of matcha and lemon. Matcha is great for boosting immunity, flushing out toxins with its awesome antioxidant properties. It's contains antioxidants known as polyphenols. Polyphenols are known to help protect against heart disease, regulate blood sugar and so much more. Matcha is sensitive to light to it's always important to make sure it's in a dark area where sun cannot damage its nutrients, once matcha has been opened its best to use it up so you get the best nutritional values out of your matcha. What I really love about matcha is the fact that it has caffeine but not to the point of feeling jittery inside from drinking coffee. It had that perfect amount of caffeine that makes you feel relaxed yet energized for the day. Drinking matcha in the morning is my like having time to mediate and be ready for the day that's ahead of me. Its a time of peace and relaxation.
