Creme de rose

New product for the new year, I have been wanting to try this product for awhile and have always been curious  abit it, so today I picked it up and it's a wonderful product. Dior creme de rose makes your lips feel moisturized and smooth. It's a product I know, I will love for the new year!                                          Happy New Years pretties! Juicing!!

Lately I have been making juice on a daily basics!It's fantastic having a good juice to start your day off!   Today I made my green detox juice I used kale, lemon, ginger, turmeric, cucumber and apple as a base. Have a wonderful day! Stay healthy

New drink to fight colds

Since cold season is coming, I found a good drink that will help boost the immune system more than my usual drink (honey, hot water, lemon and cayenne). This new drink I had today has lemon and orange juice, bee pollen, Camu Camu, cayenne, ginger and honey. It's a hot drink perfect for the cold winter and flu season that's coming up.

Fresh juice after workout

I love having a fresh juice after a long workout. It's a great energizing and healthy drink. Sometimes I make them at home or pick them up at my local health food store.                                               Some options I like to have.                     1. Kale, cucumber, parsley and apple.       2. Kale, cucumber, apple and lemon.      3. Beet, carrot, apple and celery.

Awesome finds from sephora

Last week I made alittle trip to one of my favourite stores Sephora and came across the new Marc Jacobs line and fell in love with the products. The eye shadows are gorgeous, the lip sticks look divine very wearable colours. I picked up an eye liner in Rococoa and a nail polish in Le charm which I'm currently wearing and loving. Great products, I can't wait to try out more from the line. I also picked up the REN micro polish since I was in desperate need of an exfoliate. To get ride of the dead skin that has been residing on my face. I've been curious to try this line for ages and I'm liking the product so far. Will do a product review in a month or so of what I think.  

Hair care routine

In the past couple months, I changed up my hair care routine. I'm currently using the it's a 10 shampoo and conditioner. Theses are great products to help keep hair soft and healthy. 
  
Best drink Aside From Tea
Throughout the summer and cold season I love to sip on a nice warm cup of Cayenne pepper, honey, lemon and hot water. Its a great energizing drink and helps to clear out toxins from the body. Some use it as a detox/diet drink but I use it to simply to detox my body or relief from a cold. Its also supposed to be great with fresh ginger which I will be trying soon.

Hey Loves
It's been along time since, I have been a blogging away but my summer has been so busy with training. In the last few months. I have started throwing. I do Javelin, Discus and shot put. Its been an incredible summer I have traveled all over Canada from the west to the east coast meeting wonderful athelets and coaches. Now my successful season is done for the summer and I will be strength training. I shall update you on my strength training program once I have worked it out with my coach.... its a work in progress. Never in my wildest dreams did I think, I would start throwing! Its been an amazing jounrney that has opened a new chapter in my life and taken me in a new direction.

Hey beautifuls!!
I'm so glad to be done another year of university, it has been a truely amazing year!! Since summer break has started its time to make some changes. Firstly I will be changing my workout program into an explosive program also next week I will be starting a glute free diet.  Will keep you all up to date with everything!!

Hello Lovely's, Lets Get Fit !!
As a young female in University, I want to make sure I keep fit and stay healthly all the time. This semster I am taking Advanced Weight training class to really push my body in a good way. So far it has been doing amazing things, I feel more energized and excited to workout everyday.

My Goals I began with:
I want to become stronger and promote endurance, impove muscle tone and increase metabolism. I plan to build up my core strength. My Goal is also I want to maintain my current body weight.  I also want to improve my overall health. I want to workout everyday for atleast one hour. I also want to gain muscle mass in my abdominals and legs. I want to change my old routine. I found. I was becoming too used to it. A split rountine gives more attention and more rest to each muscle. Its important for me to increase my physical activity level since it is great for overrall health and will help me meet my goals. I would like to improve flexibility in my legs and back since it can lead to greater ease of movement, less stiffness and can reduce joint pain. Flexibilty in my back can also reduce back pain from sitting in a chair to long. 

Important tips for working out: If you really want to get fit you have to challenge yourself!!
- Try working out in the morning
Yes I know this can be painful but you feel incredible once you start) make sure to lay your cloths out the night before and set more than one alarm
-Drink lots of water (drink more when working out I range between 2-3 16 oz cups of water throughout my workout) Helps from body cramping!


Make Yourself an Exercise Program 
Its all about creating the best program for you! This takes research!! I recommend reading: Women's Health, Health, Self, Seventeen and The Women's Health Big Book of Abs( great book for creating you own program!! from upper to lower body workouts).

Here's My Program

Day 1: Chest, Biceps & Calves

1. Dumbbell Bench Press
2. Dumbbell Push Row 
3. Pike Pushups
4. Side Lateral Raises
5. YLTW Raises
6. Seated Cable Row
7. Angled Barbell Twists

Day 2: Legs 

1. Goblet Squats
2. Standing Dumbbell Calf Raises
3. Barbell Romanian Deadlift
4. Side Lying Hip Clam
5. Side Lying Hip abduction
6. Reverse Lunge and Rotate
7. Snatch Pull (from Hang)
8. 1-2 min wallsit

Day 3: Shoulders, Triceps & Abs

1. Inverted Row 
2. Dips
3. Rolling Planks
4. Situps
5. Med Ball Side Rotation
6. Around the Worlds

Day 4: Back

1. Inverted Row
2. 3-Point Dumbbell Row
3. Barbell Bent- Over Row
4. Assited Chinups
5. Seated Lat Pulldown
6. Back Extentions

Day 5-7: Lit workouts

1. Goblet squats
2. 3-point Dumbbell
3. Cald Raises
4. Pull ups

Lit workout days give me the freedom to also go for walks and runs.
I also like to do Yoga, pilates, dance and swimming. Have days that are not as instense workouts! Make sure to take rest days if your not used to working out alot.
