Let Your Skin Shine Through

I think the most wonderful thing you can do for your skin is give it a break from make up throughout most of the week. As a person that loves makeup or suffers from acne, it can be hard to do so. In high school,  I worn makeup most of the time which was hard on my skin and didn't help with the breakouts. Once I started university. I didn't have the need to constantly wear makeup. Over time I saw my skin become clearer and healthier. My skin felt bright and refreshed. The acne really started to disappear and my confidence boosted so much. I have always been a very confident person but once I took off the makeup and let my skin shine through. It was a whole new experience of condifence which made me feel so great about myself.  If your a person who wears a lot of makeup and/or suffers from acne its time to take the mask off and let your gorgeous self shine.  I'm giving you the challenge of no make-up for one month, eating healthily and drinking penalty of water! Once you have done this challenge you will love the results and will feel the need to not wear make-up as much. Have an amazing day and let me know in the comments below if your taking the one month challenge! Stay Beautiful!

Looking Good, While Being Fit!

I picked up some athletic cloths for my travels to nationals. I love lululemon clothing for working out and training in. The cloths fit to my body perfectly.

I picked up the Movement Jacket: $108
Vita Loca Tank: $48
Run: A Marathon Crop II: $88 which are running pants that have so many pockets which is a must for me in a running pant.
Run: Stuff Your Bra II: $52 (Aka best sports bra ever invented) it has pocks for your iPod or Phone.    I actually picked up two pairs of socks but have already worn them and there in the laundry $14 per pair.

Mini On The Go Hair Products

I will be heading to nationals this year and for my travels I picked up the mini size of my favourite Harmonic conditioner. I also picked up the shampoo since I've been curious to try it and know I will love. I love this brand for it's Devine and hydrating conditioner. My hair tends to lighten in the summer and the ends can become dry but with this conditioner my hair is soft and healthy. I am so excited to try the shampoo, I love how this brand is free of sulfates, parabens, silicones, ethoxylates, peg, phthalates and sythetic fragrances because what ever is applied topically especially to ones hair can be just as damaging as ingesting it. So I believe it's important to stay heathy from both the inside and outside. I try to buy this without harsh chemicals even though in this day an age it can be hard and I still like to try out different brands. It's all a process to change into a fully healthy lifestyle. Have a wonderful day gorgeous :)

New Organic Face Powder

I picked up this face powder by Zuii which is an amazing line of organic products from Australia. Since my current  powder by Sweet LeiLane is too light for my skin tone. I was in need of a new powder and thought it would be a good idea it to try the Zuii powder. I picked up the colour in hazelnut, it's a beautiful powder that matches my tanned skin tone perfectly. It's a light coverage that is very buildable and gives a natural look to your skin without looking cakie. I would totally recommend this to anyone looking for natural yet a long lasting powder. Stay healthy and beautiful! Xoxo

Mini Skin Care Haul and Review

I came across this product at the health food store I go to. For years it hasn't been offered in Canada. I am so happy, I got ahold of this lovely product it's fantastic for the the face and skin. I apply it at night and it gives a beautiful glow to the skin in the morning. Defiently a product worth trying a must in everyone's skin care regime.
The next product is a brand that I have never heard of and decided it would be worth a try. I apply it morning and night at it keeps my skin will moisturized throughout the day while I am trying in the hot sun. As an athlete I like to keep my skin care routine simple in the mornings. I like the feeling this cream leaves my skin very hydrated and soft. My skin can get quiet dry being in the sun all day and this cream leaves my face feeling very lush. Hope everyone is having a great and beautiful day! Xoxo

On the go! Instant packets

Today, I picked these little packets at the health food store. I always love carry these things in my purse as I quick pick me up. I mix it in with my water bottle and I'm set for some good hydration. As an athlete. I am always on the look out for immune system boosters to maintain a healthy and beautiful life. Each packet is a wonderful different kind of mushroom. Each packet helps improve for different things.
Lion's Mane: is for "increasing memory and concentration."
Reishi: helps "reduce stress."
Maitake: helps to "support weight-loss."
There little wonders in packet size, a must for any competitive athlete or person on the go. Check out the website at foursigmafoods.com it's an informative site explaining each of the products. What really drew me too these products was the fact that they're vegan, sugar free, gluten free, soy free, all natural and most importantly non gmo. I love a good company that is non gmo. I fully respect a company that is putting health first and would totally recommend these instant beverages for the on the go life. Have an awesome day! Stay beautiful

Weekly Mask Review # 2

This week, I decided to review the Mario Badescu Drying Mask. This has been a mask talked about quiet a bit. I picked it up when I went down to the States, since you can not buy this brand in Canada.  I am happy to have picked this mask up. It's perfect when your skin is having breakouts, especially  for the hormonal breaks outs around that special time of the month. For all you ladies out there who get breakouts around your period. I would recommend this, it's great for getting ride of those breakouts.  I apply this to the broken out areas on my face. I would not recommend applying this to your whole face because it is a strong mask and too harsh to be applied to your whole face especially if you lean to having drying skin like myself. Once I apply this mask. I wait 20 minutes and then wash it off.  I find once, I have washed to mask off my breakouts have already minimized in size. I use this mask only when I have a bit of a breakout. This mask can be used upto 3 times a week or every other day but personally, I think this mask is too harsh to be used every other day, since it does contain strong chemicals such as Colloidal Sulfur and Titanium Dioxide. I would give this mask an 8/10 since it can be drying. What are your thoughts on this mask let me know in the comments below. Have an awesome day lovelys!

Weekly Mask Review

Every week, I will be doing a review of a different mask each week. Since I am a big fan of masks. I thought it would be a good idea to review all my masks for everyone. This week I am going to start off with the Aesop Parsey Seed mask. After watching reviews of this mask I got curious and ordered it online from the UK. This is my all time favourite mask. I am so happy to have tried it out. It so worth it to try and I would recommend it to everyone. It refreshes the skin and cleans out and impurities. You apply a thin layer all over the face and leave it for 15 minutes. After you wash off the mask your face just starts to glow and feels so clean. It's a beautiful mask that is gentle for dry sensitive skin like myself. I have been using it for the past few months and can't get enough of it. I would give this mask a 10/10. I'm curious to try out the rest of the skin care line by aseop in the near future!  Has anyone tried this mask or the rest of the line let me know in the comments. Have a wonderful day! Stay gorgeous
